We went to Mesa Falls to celebrate Rand's birthday this past Thursday (the actual day he had to work). It was breathtaking! I love the summers here! Enjoy these pictures taken by Rand with his new camera :)

The Ladies' Man Learns to Sit

He sits! A couple of days before my parents came (last week of June), he started to sit himself up and then perfected it, right after they left (why does it always happen like that!). But, either way, he's pretty cute - and he knows it. He has this shy little smile and will turn his head at every time a girl pays him any attention. He's definitely a boy...

He's mad that there is no toy in reachable distance - I don't know why Elise's pretend diaper bag isn't exciting, but apparently water bottles are (they crack him up when he drops them on the floor)

My amazing family came and visited us (even though they're incredibly busy)!! It was so fun - complete with zoo trips, Craigo's, feeding the ducks at the nature park, Craigo's, swimming at the pool (a first for Michael), Craigo's, riding the carousel, and lots of other exciting things (Elise became a fan of Barney...I don't know how I feel about that, yet) :) Craigo's just happens to be Elise's all-time favorite place to eat. I don't blame her - where else can you eat the best-tasting pizza ever created, goldfish crackers and cottage cheese/olives (yes, the latter part of that sounds absolutely disgusting, but hey - she likes it!). All in all, it was so fun having my parents come here - it's such a nice place to be three months out of the year. Actually, Rexburg is amazing and we love it here! I'm just glad we could share the fun :)

After about a three week hiatus, we finally have the Internet. Finally.

But, you'll just have to wait. There's less than one week of school left...ah, finals - does anyone really see any purpose to them?
